Happy Thanksgiving, Church Elections on December 4

Dear Church,

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good…

Consider all the blessings in your life, from the breath in your lungs to the ability to read the words on the screen in front of you, from the salvation in your soul and the people God has put you in relationship with. Take a moment and say thanks.

His love endures forever. (Psalm 118:1)

The evidence of his love is everywhere. And I experienced it through the fun we had together in the Family Advent Experience and the Community Thanksgiving Meal on Sunday.

Through this season of Advent we will be witnessing, experiencing and expressing the goodness and love of God through our Advent Devotional and our Sunday morning worship times. My Prayer:

Thank you Father God for including us in your multi-generational, multi-cultural family.

Thank you Jesus Christ for offering your life as a witness and example of love and goodness.

Thank you Spirit for bringing the power of love and mercy into the lives of believers.

Church Board Elections

Sunday, December 4th after each service we will be electing nominees to the church board.   All members over the age of 15 can vote (age 13 and older can vote for NYI president).  There is a flyer available at the Welcome Center with nominee information and pictures to assist you to prepare and to pray.  

Thank you for giving to the Foster Care initiative

A note from Holly and Lester Strait. “We received an emergency placement of a 5 year old and nine month baby. They came with minimal oversized clothes and a pair shoes. Because you gave, the foster care team sprang into action to help us welcome the kids and supplied clothes and donations to help with the transition. We are also grateful the prayers and words of encouragement, the initial transition is challenging and scary for the young ones which often means sleepless nights. We are humbled by your giving, thank you! Thank you Stillmeadow!!”

Christmas Card Exchange

Let's share the love with Christmas greetings this season.

We'll have boxes in the cafe where you can drop cards for Stillmeadow family, our shut-ins and for our local police. We’ll have a list of names of Stillmeadow folks who are unable to get out as much so that you can write a card to bless them. And we’ll have a place for you to express your appreciation to our local police department as well.

The boxes will be out from Dec 4-25, but we'll be delivering the cards for shut-ins and police the week before Christmas, so those cards are due by Dec 18.

Hey Kids!

This Sunday (Nov 27) is our Advent PJ Party when you’re invited to wear pajamas and slippers to kids ministry!

And then join us on Sunday, December 11th @ 9am & 10:30am at our Stillmeadow Lane Campus for our Happy Birthday Jesus party during our SNK Worship service!

Youth Gift Card Fundraiser

Stillnaz Youth Ministry is holding a Gift Card Fundraiser! Take advantage of this "one stop shop" to purchase gift cards just in time for your Christmas giving, while supporting our teens so they can attend events like NYC and Teen Camp. Please see a teen or visit the Welcome Table in the Stillmeadow Lane Campus lobby on Sunday Mornings to place your order. Gift cards will be arrive by December 13.

PS…THANK YOU to all who gave in various ways over the last couple weeks. We had 40+ join in the Journey House Paint Night and raised over $1000 for Journey House. Between the prayer shawl ministry and youth ministry we packed 38 Crisis Care Kits. And our youth raised over $13,000 to fight hunger during their 30 Hour Famine!
