A Nite Together, Kids Night Out, Gather25

Dear Stillmeadow Family,

“from the beginning, God‘s people are to be “missionary.” They are chosen to be a channel of blessing to others.” (55 The Drama of Scripture)

Yesterday, on Vision Sunday, we looked back at God’s call to Abraham (Genesis 12) and Jesus’ call to the disciples (Matthew 28). Like Abraham, Sarah and the disciples were are being invited this year to…

  1. Take God at his word.

  2. Go with God beyond the familiar.

  3. Be a blessing to our world.

I encourage you today to remember that as God was faithful to his “missionary” people over the last couple thousand years, he is and will be faithful to us and to you as you follow Jesus in this life.

Part of that faithfulness was experienced in the stories shared across both campuses yesterday and at the Chili/Soup Cookoff last night. (Congrats to Lisa Rumsey for the winning chili and Kathleen Herman for the winning soup. Yummy!) And we will get to experience that faithfulness together as we follow Christ together this year.

I’m thankful for, praying for and cheering for you.

Pastor Josh

PS If you missed the services yesterday, check out York City Campus or Stillmeadow Lane

PPS If you haven’t jumped into the reading plan yet, you still can. Check out our reading page here. If you want to catch up, you can listen in on the Bible App, or you can just join right where we are and catch up later. Our hope is that you’ll daily connect with Our Creator and Savior through Scripture.
