A Nite Together, Kids Night Out, Passage Blessing, Chili/Soup Cookoff
Dear church family,
We’re two weeks into our new year and our year long message series: GodStory OurStory. Yesterday Pastor John (SLC) and Pastor Jade ( YCC ) shared God’s message from Genesis 2. One of the most important things about you, and every human, is that you were designed for relationship: with God and with others.
In Paul’s iconic reflection on love in 1 Corinthians 13, he points to the truth that love is knowing God and that it is growing in knowing God as he knows us. He says, “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” (1 Cor 13:12)
My hope for you this year is that you would experience the growing in knowing God as he knows you. That as we go through this series, gather for worship and in groups, pray and serve together…that we each would personally experience and express God’s great love for us and that we would all corporately experience and express God’s great love for the church and the world.
If you haven’t jumped into our annual reading plan, it’s not too late. You can pick up a journal at the welcome center, sign up for the plan on YouVersion, or follow along here. It’s been great to see people’s reflections on the readings so far in the YouVersion App. It’s an awesome way to experience God’s great love on a daily basis.
Cheering and praying for you!
Pastor Josh
PS No one knows you better than God does, and no one loves you more than he does, and no one paid a greater price for you than he did, and no one is here for you as much as he is.

Grow with us
We were made to grow in maturity in our relationship with God and others. And we realize that no one matures alone, so we have intentional ways to cultivate growth together. Check out these two opportunities…

Wild Fire Response
Our special giving opportunity this week is to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Los Angeles Wildfire Response. NCM will be working with local Nazarene’s to care for those affected by this devastating fire, including a sister church and several Nazarene church member’s homes that were caught in the fire. You can give through Stillmeadow by using the GIVE button below and choosing “wildfire” from the drop down menu. Or you can give directly to NCM HERE.
Thank you for your generosity!
Because you gave, we were able to give 133 gifts to our friends in nursing homes. Thanks to our delivery people pictured and to Kelly Kile who organized it! And because you gave, over 1050 inmates at York County Prison were blessed with Hope Packs!
