What can you do this advent season to receive peace, hope, joy and love from God? Take a moment to imagine yourself with Jesus at the cradle or the cross, receiving His sacrifice.
Who do you know that needs peace, hope, joy and/or love?
What can you do this advent season to give peace, hope, joy and love to others? Take a moment to prayerfully imagine bringing that person (or people) to Jesus at the cradle or the cross.
Close in prayer, asking God for guidance and strength in serving Him and others.
DAILY READINGS
The greatest gift to the world was Jesus. Our scripture reading this week focus on his cradle and cross, places of surprise and salvation. Each scripture invites us into the beautifully redemptive mystery of God becoming human. The Friday reading gives a summary of why he became like us.
