Scripture: Isaiah 2:1-5, Romans 13:11-14, Matthew 24:36-44
Message Reflection Questions
Begin with silence.
What did God say to you through the message?
Where is there great conflict in our world? Where is there relational tension in your own life?
Read Isaiah 2:1-5 slowly. What image of hope stands out?
Read Romans 13:11-14. What image of hope do you see here?
Based on these two passages, what hope do we have as believers?
Based on these two passages, what disrupts hope?
Who do you know that needs the transformation and salvation that God brings? Take a moment and imagine walking with them up the mountain of God in Isaiah 2 to learn His ways together. Imagine the “swords” that have caused them pain being transformed into farming instruments that bring life.
Now take a moment to imagine bringing the relational tension you are experiencing to God’s mountain.Give yourself a couple minutes with this and allow God to speak to you in the quiet.
Close in prayer, asking God for guidance and strength in serving Him and others.
