God IN us, Family Worship and Rise Against Hunger on July 30

Dear Church,

Chew on this for a bit. It’s our memory verse for the next section of sermons out of Romans.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8:11

Did you catch that? Go back and read it again.

This is all about how God brings his resurrection life to us by the power of His Holy Spirit IN US. We do not earn this life, we do not achieve this life, we receive this life.

It makes me think of something Rich Villodas said at NYC23 last week.

“Holiness is not something we achieve, it’s something we receive.”

As we continue to explore the letter to the Romans together, let’s keep that in mind. To become like Christ is a miracle that God does within us as we put our faith in Him.

And cool story, click the button below and you can watch that message from Rich Villodas.

Family Worship on July 30

We have a Family Service on the 5th Sunday of the month. Our kids (3 years and up) join us for worship. Some kids and teens will help with part of the service, and we will have a kid's lesson/sermon right before the main sermon.  It is important for our kids to worship with the church as a whole and for the church to worship with our kids.  We are a church family experiencing Jesus in All Generations. And cool story, we’ll transition from the 10:30 service right into our Rise Against Hunger Event where families can serve together.

We will have our nursery open for our babies- 2 year olds during the worship services.

Welcome Bash & Baptism

Save the Date! Sunday August 27th at 10AM at the Stillmeadow Lane Campus! Worship Service will be in the Family Life Center and Food Trucks and games will be outside after the service. If you would like to be baptized you can sign-up here.
