VBS, Concert, Property Changes, Kids Ministry Update
Happy Easter Stillmeadow Family!
Did you know that Easter is not just a day, but a season? Yup! Just as Lent is a season of fasting that leads up to the celebration of resurrection, Easter is a season of feasting that leads up to Pentecost!
As we celebrate the Easter season, may we have an Easter Imagination about the world. The grave could not hold back the King. Death has no more sting. Jesus is greater than everything.
What if we looked at those the world sees as hopeless through the lens of resurrection? What if we looked at those the world sees as difficult through the lens of resurrection?
Grateful for, praying for and cheering for you in this journey with Jesus,
Pastor Josh

Property Changes at Stillmeadow Lane
Here are three quick updates about property changes happening:
Our youth ministry just added a “Gaga Pit” outside the Family Life Center. Don’t know what the game of Gaga is? You’re not alone! Check out this Wikipedia explanation.
Our partners at the Stillmeadow Child Care will be updating the playground with grant money they received to cover the costs. Be on the look out for more info soon.
The field between the upper parking lot and the Sprenkle House is being utilized by Columbia Gas while they work on updating piping our area. They are giving a donation to Stillmeadow for this usage.
Kids Ministry Update
We are moving between stage 3 and 4 of our children’s ministry transition. Phase 1 was saying farewell to and celebrating Pastor Rachel while also grieving her departure. Phase 2 was the Interim Prayer Phase as we seek God’s guidance on what’s next. Phase 3 was the Search Phase as we put together a job description and interview potential candidates for the position. Phase 4 will be the welcome and integration of a new leader.
After several initial interviews, we are excited to bring a candidate in for a formal interview process. She will be with us this weekend (May 2-5) to meet with the Stillnaz Kids Ministry Team, Pastoral Staff and Board. She will be helping lead our 9:00 elementary worship service and will be joining us for our 10:30 adult worship service.
Please continue in prayer with us as we seek God’s will together. We are grateful for Trudy Gunnet’s service as our Children’s Ministry Director in this interim season!
Grow with us in a Life Group
We are all on a discipleship pathway here in Stillmeadow and we have many intermittent courses that help equip each of us in spiritual formation. Our courses can be found at stillnaz.com/lifegroup.

Thank you to all those who have given to Good News Global (Prison Ministry)!
They recently had an extra-ordinary fundraising event and shared a cool summary of God’s work. Watch the stories of God’s work through Good News Global and see why we support them and pray for Chaplain Mike, Paul and Kristy! Here’s the video.
