New Series, Teen Car Wash, Building Updates, Baptisms!
“Follow me!”
In John 21:15-23 the Resurrected Jesus invited Peter to follow Him, even after Peter had failed him by denying him. This is the way of Jesus—offering renewal, even to those who have turned their back on him. Peter accepted the invitation and helped many other people accept the invitation.
Will you follow Jesus by cultivating growth in this next season?
No matter how you have lived the last year(s) of your life, Jesus gives you the same invitation: Follow me.
This will mean adjusting your life to His way of life, allowing Him to direct your steps and correct your attitude. This will mean being intentional about how you invest your time, relationships, money and resources.
Our new series will focus on how to be intentional in cultivating growth in the Resurrecting Life of Jesus. As Peter intentionally followed Jesus and helped change the world with God’s grace, Stillmeadow is being invited to follow Jesus and help change York (City and County) with God’s grace. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in those who accept Jesus’ invitation to follow Him!

BUILDING TRANSITION UPDATE
Did you know that over the last 84 years of ministry in York (we were formally organized in 1938), we have had 6 different locations for Sunday adult worship? 1 on George Street, 1 on Princess Street, 3 different sanctuaries on Pine Street, and now 2 on Stillmeadow Lane. As God was faithful through all of those transitions, we believe He is being faithful in our current transition at our Stillmeadow Lane Campus.
In the last two years, we discovered new ways to more effectively use our Stillmeadow Lane campus. We can provide greater security and flow for our children’s ministries by having them worship in the Worship Center and meet on the east side of the building. This means we have moved adults to the 6th location for worship in the Family Life Center on the west side of the building.
We are grateful to the volunteers, staff and the trustees of our board that are working together to update the building. Over the next couple weeks we’re cleaning out storage closets, taking things off the walls and updating our new adult worship space. As we grow, so does our need for storage. As we continue Christ’s mission, we are updating our walls to tell the story and mission of Jesus to All Generations.
As we follow Him through these transitions, pray with us that God will continue to reach people of every age, race and gender with His grace through our ministries. Pray with Jesus that we will be unified in following Him and making Him known to our community.
Youth Car Wash Fundraiser 4/23
Come support the youth on Saturday April 23 from 11am - 3pm @ Stillmeadow Lane Campus for a car wash fundraiser! It’s time to knock of the winter salt and prepare for sunny days ahead! The teens are saving for Teen Camp and fall retreat this year and the HUGE Nazarene Youth Conference next year ($1700/student expense). Your faithful and generous support is vital to enabling our teens to participate in these transformational events.

Commit: For Parents and Kids and Youth
Parents and elementary kids/youth/teens: Join us on Sunday, April 24th at 10:30 AM in the Kid's Worship Center for this milestone event! This is a family event for you to participate in together!
Nursery and preschool will have their normal classes. Elementary and youth will be meeting together with their parents for this event.
Crisis Care Kits Needed for Ukrainian Refugees
One way the Church of the Nazarene supports people facing natural and humanitarian disasters like the war on Ukraine is through Crisis Care Kits. These are little packs that help meet basic needs. If you’d like to help, you can build kits of your own and bring them into Stillmeadow.

Shopping List
• 1 Shampoo (12 to 18 oz.) tape flip top
• 2 Bars of Soap (bath size or larger)
• 1 Toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz.)
• 3 Toothbrushes (in original packaging)
• 1 Box of Band-Aids (30 or more)
• 1 Fingernail clipper(no toe nail clipper)
• 1 Sturdy hair comb for all hair types
• 2 Hand towels (no wash cloths)
• 4 Pocket-sized pkgs. facial tissue
• 1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy
Each Crisis Care Kit (CCK) should contain
only the items/quantities listed.
Place all items into a 2-2.5-gallon zip-lock
bag.
A $2 donation per kit will offset the cost of shipping these kits.
