3/19 Invitation to Holy Week Prayers (Tue, Wed and Fri)
Dear Church Family,
Will you join me and others in a prayer journey to the cross?
Next week we are setting apart three nights to slow down and experience the final hours of Jesus before he died on the cross for the sins of the world.
On Tuesday we will be led by our youth ministry through these stations of the cross
One: Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-41)
Two: Jesus, Betrayed by Judas, is Arrested (Mark 14:43-46)
Three: Jesus is Condemned by the Sanhedrin (Luke 22:66-71)
Four: Jesus is Denied by Peter (Matthew 26:69-75)
On Wednesday at York City Campus we will be led by our Celebrate Recovery ministry through these stations of the cross
Five: Jesus is Judged by Pilate (Mark 15: 1-5, 15)
Six: Jesus is Scourged and Crowned with Thorns (John 19: 1-3)
Seven: Jesus Bears the Cross (John 19: 6, 15-17)
Eight: Jesus is Helped by Simon to Carry the Cross (Mark 15: 21)
Nine: Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem (Luke 23: 27-31)
On Good Friday at Stillmeadow Lane Campus we will join together to walk through these stations
Ten: Jesus is Crucified (Luke 23: 33-34)

I conclude this message with our theme verse for the Lenten Series:
“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” Mark 8:35
