New Series, Pray for the EJAM Team & More

Happy New Year Church Family,

Meet Me In the Garden

In our first sermon series of 2024, we begin in the Garden with Jesus, where he poured out his heart and aligned His life with His Father in prayer. Commentators say that in the Garden of Eden, Adam said, “not your will but mine” but in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said, “not my will but thine.”

In the milestone and mundane moments that you face this year, will you join Jesus in his prayer? Will you surrender your will to the will of the Father? If the Father is all loving and all good, don’t you want to?

  • As you move into a new neighborhood, school or job, pray, “not my will, but thine.”

  • As you bring a new child (biological or foster) into your home, pray, “not my will, but thine.”

  • As you join a small group or ministry, pray, “not my will, but thine.”

  • As you come to the end of an era, retirement or saying goodbye to a family member, pray, “not my will, but thine.”

Follow the Daily Readings and Reflections

With our new series, we encourage you to use the reflection questions and daily scriptures for personal and family growth.
