Stillnaz Youth Family Update 11/8

Hey SNY Families,

Stillnaz Youth Families,

It is with excitement and honor that this week starts our journey together in youth ministry!  I am so excited to partner with you in God's purpose and mission for our youth.  He is a God of wild and amazing things and in Him we put our trust during this season.  Will you join me in praying that our youth, individually and collectively, would rise up and embrace the calling God has placed before them?  I am praying that we see a fire burning so bright that it is contagious to our entire congregation.  Please always feel free to reach out with any questions, thoughts, or concerns!  In the next week we will be sending around a survey that we would encourage each parent and youth to complete.  We want to hear your voice as we navigate this season of youth ministry!  Praise God for His work in each of our stories.  I cannot wait to learn all of yours.

Upcoming Events

November 21: Ignite Family Night & Parent Cohort

It’s our quarterly family night. Elementary aged kiddos are encouraged to join the youth group for worship and games. Parents will stay to have a parent cohort with Pastor Josh and myself to discuss the direction of youth ministry and its leadership.

November 26: No Sunday School

Family Advent Experience! @ 9am & 10:30am during our worship services

Dec 1-2: Youth Equipped to Serve (Y.E.S.— 11th & 12th grades only)

Registration for this event is now closed, please join us in prayer for our upperclassmen who are attending this event that God would be at work in them in preparation for the event and continued service as they enter adulthood.

Dec 17: No Sunday School

We are having a Family Christmas event! If you or your teen would like to be in the Christmas choir for this event, you can sign up at www.stillnaz.com/serve.

December 19: Ignite Christmas Party

It’s a Christmas party! Wear your fun festive clothing (ugly sweaters and light-up things are highly encouraged), and come prepared for a $5 white elephant gift exchange!

Sunday School resumes Jan 7, and Ignite resumes Jan 9
