A Day2Pray For York

Prayer Guide

(Google Doc Guide)

There is power in united prayer. We are choosing to unite Stillmeadow in prayer for York on the Fourth Tuesday of every month. This guide will give each of us direction in how to pray. And we will cover these areas together in person at our Prayer Night on October 28, 6:30-8:00, at 400 Stillmeadow Lane, York, PA.

Opening Prayers (5-10 Minutes)

Begin the hour of prayer with praise and adoration of God for who He is. Read Psalm 139 aloud.

Follow your praise with a prayer of confession, using Psalm 139:23-24 as a prompt. Ask God to search your heart for any sins that you need to confess. Confess and ask for help.

Next, before you move into 40 minutes of praying for 8 spheres of our community, ask God: “What do you desire to see transformed in our community?”
