November is Just Mercy Month
Let’s pray for, give to and/or serve the following opportunities.
Nov 3: Habitat for Humanity
Bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Pray: Ask God to bless the homeowners, to protect the volunteers, to provide for Habitat
Volunteer: Anyone 16+ can volunteer to help build. And there are other ways to help for those under 16. Join our Habitat Team on our serve page.
ReStore: Donate or purchase used items to the Restore Store. All proceeds support Habitat’s mission.

Nov 17: Good News Global (Prison Ministry),
Disrupting the cycle of darkness and despair for all who are behind bars and beyond.
1. Pray. For the chaplains, volunteers, prison staff and the men and women in prison.
2. Stay Informed. Join the Good News email list to hear regular stories and ways to join in.
3. Volunteer. Join the team in helping with Bible studies or writing to those in the Pen Pal program.
4. Give Financially. Good News is entirely funded and supported by the community. You can give through Stillmeadow by writing “Good News” in the memo line. Or you can give to Chaplain Irvin at (gnglobal.org/give-hope/). Where it says “Select where you would like your gift applied” be sure to scroll down to York County, PA.
5. Give Hope Packs for Christmas. Each year, local churches partner with Good News Global to bless the inmates with Hope Packs containing the following:
Small individual bags of potato chips, Cheez-its, or pretzels, Pop Tarts, Granola Bars, Fun-sized candy bars (no full sized), Hot chocolate or cider packets. We give each inmate one of these.
Jolly Ranchers or small fruit candy, atomic fireballs, etc. We do need enough of these for all 1100 inmates to receive a couple of each.
Items can be dropped off in the box under the Christmas Blessing Tree in the lobby by Dec 8 or taken directly to York County Prison on Dec 19 between 8:30-10:30am.
If you’re interested in praying, staying informed or volunteering, please sign up at www.stillnaz.com/serve and we’ll connect you with Good News Global.
Nov 24: Nursing Home Blessing,
Spreading cheer to those who are homebound.
Take a “gift tag” from the Christmas Blessing Tree in the lobby and bring gift back by December 8.
The gifts will be hand delivered through the Christmas season.
